A Simple Way to Market Your Website

Promoting your website, to get more traffic, is habitually more difficult than creating it, but it’s at least as imperative. If you don’t take the time to promote your website well you won’t obtain anybody to see it, and if nobody arrives at your site then you can’t make an income. Thus promoting is an absolute need.

But promoting can appear awfully discouraging, there are a lot of websites out there that pledge this and pledge that, but you can’t know for sure what you’re getting until you pay them. I don’t like this style to promoting, habitually they are just retelling the same stuff that’s already all over the internet and all you do is throw away your cash. Thus be cautious of what you pay for.

Then what should you do? Well, there are a lot of ways to succeed in marketing, from on-site SEO (Search Engine Optimization) where you optimize on page items such as keyword density, text, etc… to an assortment of off-site SEO techniques. Off-site SEO is making your site visible on other websites, getting quality inbound, specially one-way, links to move up your rankings and more. Here I will discuss just one of those styles of off-site promoting, a system of getting 1-way links to your website.

Everybody agrees that the more one way links you have to your website the higher in the search engines it will move, the search engines such as Google look at these one way links as a symbol that your site is known to be good (linking to blackhat sites, link farms or other ’spam’ sites will harm your ranking hence people are sure not to do it). Thus that brings us to the issue of how to obtain these one way links.

One system to get backlinks is by means of spam software, this software will spam uncomplicated responses to every blog it can come across on the internet and put a backlink to your site. This is the worst way to get things done and if you run a blog you may find yourself at the receiving end of thousands of spam comments from software of this nature. Don’t do it.

A different system, and this is a decent one, is called article marketing, which a lot of of you might have used at some point. The most rudimentary article marketing is where you create an article and put it in an article directory, the process of article submission, with your backlink in the article itself and/or in the author’s box (this is dependant on on the directory). This works but is very unproductive.

A better technique to do this is by means of a service that will either put your articles on a lot of directory sites or to put them on a network of blogs that want fresh content. And of course when your article is put on any of these sites you get one way links back to your site. To get around duplicate content problems you do what’s called spinning it first, this means that you create it in such a style that their software can form thousands of unique versions of the same piece of writing.
