– Whenever negative emotions rise, we need to not let them settle in our minds. Why? Because emotions are transitory. It takes a combination of emotion and though to generate a permanent feeling at a subconscious level, not emotion alone. If we refuse to pay attention to that emotion, it will pass.

– The subconscious mind can’t distinguish between ‘imaginary’ and ‘real’. Therefore, at the level of our feelings, our subconscious mind can no longer tell a ‘real’ past event from an ‘imagined’ one. By repeatedly consuming a daily diet of positive energy, in a relatively short space of time, this will become our ‘reality’.

By following the above steps, we can gradually use the 20% of our thoughts that we have the power to control to bring about change to the 80% which just ‘happen’, thus effecting the other 80% of stuff that is showing up in our lives.

Our self image is what makes us behave ‘like us’. As such, the habits we acquire, and the way we ultimately ’see’ ourselves in our life, are a direct result of our self image and the way that our self image views ourselves.

As you achieve success, wealth, or ’status’ in your life, if your self image gets left behind, eventually you will find yourself losing your grip on what you have achieved.

It comes down to the fundamental issue of ‘derservability’. Does the self image believe that we deserve to have what we have achieved? If not, you will not stay there, because the self image, like all of us, has a very comfortable comfort zone.

If the self image asks “Is this really me?”, and the answer is “No”, the self image can not accept what we have become and will change or modify our behaviors to get us back to a level that it feels that we ‘deserve’.

Your self image is the praise or adulation which you give yourself. The self-talk on the inside, the images that you reflect from within to the outside world.

To sum up, our thoughts, habits and actions are what get us to the level that we want to be in our life but it is the self image which is responsible for keeping us there.

The thing is, that pretty much all success strategies are, essentially, based around two words, and once you know what they are, and what the real meaning of them is, then any strategy that you choose to implement can bring you success.
